Here’s the secret that no one out there has figured out on how to make a good movie game. First take an interesting movie with notable characters and consistent themes, pretty much anything that’s not a documentary or retarded. Next take your characters and what you know about the movie and think up a GAME about those characters. It doesn’t even have to share the same story as the movie, which tends to only confuse and make a shitty game. A Good Movies story doesn’t make for good game play. Then focus in on the game play and how make it fun while using the movie’s characters. That’s it. Just make a fun game with the characters not a game version of the movie. Gremlins does a good job of this and is a lot of fun to play. Check it out.
